Performance Psychologist and Sport and Exercise Psychology Registrar

Lauren Bischoff has a deep passion for helping performers become even better versions of themselves.

Favourite Sporting Moment: Matthew Mitcham winning an Olympic gold medal for Australia in diving during the 2008 Olympics. He scored a near-perfect score for his final dive, including four perfect 10s from the judges, being the highest single-dive score in Olympic history. 

Location: Lauren is located in the capital of South Australia, Adelaide. She will be available for Same Place Sessions at a central Adelaide consulting room shortly but in the meantime is ‘ready to go’ via Webcam for all Australian and International clients.

More About Lauren …

Lauren Bischoff completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Adelaide and the University of South Australia, completing a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) in 2018, followed by the Graduate Diploma in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy at Flinders University in 2019. Lauren completed a Master of Psychology (Sport and Exercise) in 2022 at the University of Queensland, Brisbane. The final part of Lauren’s journey to becoming an endorsed sport psychologist is the undertaking of the sport and exercise psychology registrar program through her work with Condor Performance.

Lauren has spent most of her life involved in various individual and team competitive sports. Lauren was an elite diver, in both springboard and platform and has also been heavily involved in Gymnastics and Cheerleading from a young age. Lauren has competed at various state and national competitions.

Lauren Bischoff

As a performance psychologist, Lauren has experience working with both individual athletes and teams, in a range of sports and performance settings. Lauren had the opportunity to create and deliver a series of online mindfulness sessions for Australian Paralympians in quarantine after the 2021 Tokyo Olympics. Lauren has worked with coaches and other staff to assist athletes’ competitive journey and improve team cohesion. 

Lauren is passionate about continuing to develop her skills to assist athletes to reach their potential and be the best they can be. When Lauren is not working at Condor Performance, she is working on developing her understanding of various sports to better assist her athletes.
